CEO of Pyromet Elected to be the Secretary of the Silver Users Association.

(Washington, D.C. – November 19-20, 2013) The SUA held its annual meeting at the Army Navy Club at the nation’s capitol this week.  The meeting consisted of board elections, speaker programs, and a dinner reception.

Smith was chosen by SUA members to be the upcoming secretary. Members appointed Bill LeRoy from Ohio Precious Metals to be President. The new vice president is Mike Huber from QML, INC. John King, of Gannon & Scott, was appointed to be treasurer.

The speaker programs, which focused on Washington’s impact on silver users bottom-line, followed the elections. “The speaker programs provided SUA members a strong outlook on the silver industry and America’s economic future, which in turn, gave me a better perspective of what the next year may look like for the precious metal industries,” said Smith.

Smith stated attending these events gave beneficial information, but as well as a great way to network with other precious metal users. “It is a fun way to meet others in the industry,” said Smith. “I enjoyed the dinner because it gave members time to discuss what was presented in the speaker programs as well as similar outside interest that we share.”
